Friendshoring: Your Business Intelligence Self - care Strategy.

 What does it really mean to find a friend across the shores, entrust them with your business to instigate precaution as your business intelligence? Does outsourcing mitigate risks of cyber security?  Join me first of all to understand cyber security. 

Such a specialized endeavour that sounds monsterous and is capable of a frustrating insanely stressful distraction when not scaled and given the best practices.  

Have you heard of the more than 200,000 machines were affected by the May 12, 2017, WannaCry ransomware outbreak?

Unpatched vulnerability was exploited by WannaCry to spread across networks worldwide.

As the world has become smaller with the rise of the internet of things,  business specialization has become an intrinsic value of business that is oftentimes ignored.  

The rise FRIENDSHORING in the recent 2023 economic forum explains the need of every business for offshore and inshore friends as a support for specialized services that can be provided by trusted highly competent capable "friends"

The World Economic Forum reported through Reuters that: 

Tech giant Apple is one American company to have recently made friendshoring moves, relocating some of its iPhone production to India from China. Currently, only 5% of Apple products are made outside of China, but recent JP Morgan analysis suggests this could rise to a quarter by 2025.

It is best to outsource your MSSPs to more reliable individuals as long as your primary line of business is unrelated to information technology. It will be crucial to remember that a committed management team will need to concentrate on the operations of the outsource firm to make sure the business goals, values, culture and final outcomes are aligned. 

 After all, as per Peter Drucker:

The best way to predict your future is to create it.

Your now, your present is the most important.  

More vital than your yesterday and tomorrow. 

When you look after your now, you look after yourself and the ones offshore who will look after your same being.

The Life Hack of Project Management

 

You will never reach anything in life if you do not risk at all.  If you will not fall, you will never learn to stand.  If you will not be in trouble, you will never learn to give solution.  True that risks cannot be avoided but they can be prevented.  There should be contingencies.  If any of the team members in this project cannot understand this very basic fact, he is out. 

This is the very dynamics of every project. If you are a member, your role is to follow.  If you cannot follow, certainly, you can never lead.  You are useless, you better get lost.  The whole project and the full team cannot be sacrificed just because of members who are egocentric and unconcerned.  

As mature members of the team, diplomatic communication is integral and one of the core values in an organization’s culture.  Respect is the simplest translation. One’s respect for others is a reflection of one’s self-respect. 

Project Management is simply a life’s hack.  How you treat, manage, work with the projects on hand, whether the lead or the member, is simply how you do your own life.  If you close your eyes on every single risk that you need to prepare for, you are putting yourself closer and closer to failure.  

As Benjamin Franklin would say, “ life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late”.

IT - Inevitable Technology.

Task # 1: Create a blog for grad school and write about I.T. Information Technology.  What do I know about I.T.? Maybe write about a frustrated me who would like to stay attuned with my children belonging to two generations of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, or perhaps serve my purpose now.  This can be the sign. Information technology to all its intent and purposes has become an integral part of our daily lives now.  Like the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat, human can no longer exist without I.T.

2020 is the year when we all thought that the world is coming to an end.  The virus that invaded humanity is something that we only watch in movies.  Pandemic was a word that we only see in the dictionary.  It was 2020 that the word became part of our lives.  It was also in 2020 that I have extensively used IT, extensively that video call has become my food for survival.  Thanks to this IT – inevitable technology that I survived the scary year of 2020.

When myself and my husband has to stay in the hospital for 20 days after his complete gastrectomy, we can only speak and see our children through video call. Pandemic has completely made our worlds so far, yet so near.  Breakfast would be checking on Ate and Kuya if they had their proper meal and a reminder not to leave their eyes on bunso -- on a video call.  Lunch would be making sure with Ate that gas tanks have been completely closed after preparing the meal for the three of them – on a video call.  Dinner would be looking at the notes they have done in school and checking on their actual situation – what their thoughts are and how they feel while trying to closely look into their eyes – on a video call. A caregiver to my cancer patient husband and a mom of three, 

I survived 2020 with the help of IT – ingest technology.
