The Life Hack of Project Management

 

You will never reach anything in life if you do not risk at all.  If you will not fall, you will never learn to stand.  If you will not be in trouble, you will never learn to give solution.  True that risks cannot be avoided but they can be prevented.  There should be contingencies.  If any of the team members in this project cannot understand this very basic fact, he is out. 

This is the very dynamics of every project. If you are a member, your role is to follow.  If you cannot follow, certainly, you can never lead.  You are useless, you better get lost.  The whole project and the full team cannot be sacrificed just because of members who are egocentric and unconcerned.  

As mature members of the team, diplomatic communication is integral and one of the core values in an organization’s culture.  Respect is the simplest translation. One’s respect for others is a reflection of one’s self-respect. 

Project Management is simply a life’s hack.  How you treat, manage, work with the projects on hand, whether the lead or the member, is simply how you do your own life.  If you close your eyes on every single risk that you need to prepare for, you are putting yourself closer and closer to failure.  

As Benjamin Franklin would say, “ life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late”.
